Founding Member of Singapore Green Building Council Governing Entity Singapore Green Building Council Description The mission of the SGBC will be to propel the Singapore building and construction industry towards environmental sustainability by promoting green building design, practices and technologies, the integration of green building initiatives into mainstream design, construction and operation of buildings as well as building capability and professionalism to support wider adoption of green building development and practices in Singapore. Its work will complement and support the government’s efforts to accelerate the greening of our buildings by 2030. Member of Sustainable Energy Association of Singapore Governing Entity Sustainable Energy Association of Singapore Description EAS represents the interests and provides a common platform for companies in Renewable Energy, Carbon Trading, Energy Efficiency, Clean Development Mechanism Projects and the Financial Institutions to meet, discuss, collaborate and undertake viable projects together. The Association also extends its focus to include Capacity Building, Technology Strengthening and Market Intelligence sourcing to assist its members in achieving Sustainable Growth. As a Non-Profit Organisation, SEAS is governed by a Council whose members hail from some of Singapore's most established and progressive Sustainable Energy Companies. Through our strong links with the Government, we are suitably qualified to represent our members objectively and to facilitate communication between the Government, and the Sustainable Energy Community.
